Job Summary
This position involves timely and accurate processing of vouchers, purchase order invoices, contract invoices, and check deposits. This person will also collaborate with multiple departments within Cuyahoga County, Juvenile Court and Administration to meet the needs of the court and provide excellent customer service and support to vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares, reviews, and processes voucher packets, purchase order invoices, contract invoices and expense reimbursements.
Processes revenue receipt transactions, checks and ACH transfers.
Posts vouchers, expenditure adjustments, chargebacks, and other fiscal transactions.
Reconciles statements and resolves any discrepancies with vendors.
Develops and maintains spreadsheets of court expense payments, reimbursements, and VARP/Witness Fee payments.
Maintains and organizes scanned documentation of all invoices and deposits processed by Fiscal.
Investigates and responds to internal and external inquiries regarding the status of budgets, account balances, payments, invoices, reimbursements, and other fiscal related matters.
Performs various duties including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet design and entry, typing, photocopying, and filing.
Compiles, completes, and distributes regular and special reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Has no direct supervisory responsibility for staff members.
Equipment Operated
Standard office equipment and office technology such as copy machines, personal computers, and telephones.
Confidential Data
All court-related information regarding hearings, etc. that the employee may encounter by working in the facility.
Working Conditions
Works in a general office setting with moderate noise levels. May be subject to interruptions, quick deliverables, and changing work deadlines.
Usual Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, to speak clearly, and to hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Ability to maintain information of a confidential nature. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to follow verbal and written directions. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to prioritize a variety of assignments effectively. Ability to accurately complete basic math problems including, but not limited to, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to keep accurate records, file and type, and use a computer including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access).
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
AND
Three (3) years of work experience in accounts payable or accounting. Prefer work experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs, INFOR accounting system and prior public sector work experience.
