Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Application Development Manager, designs, develops, installs, and supports new computer software applications; modifies and maintains existing computer software applications.
Modifies and enhances existing ASP.Net applications.
Supports the court’s case management system.
Writes new programs to meet changing court requirements.
Trains users in the proper use of existing applications.
Prepares program and system documentation.
Analyzes user requirements and develop solutions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Has no direct supervisory responsibility for staff members.
Equipment Operated
Standard office equipment and office technology such as copy machines, personal computers and telephones.
Confidential Data
All court-related information regarding hearings, etc. that the employee may come in contact with by working in the facility.
Working Conditions
Works in a general office setting with moderate noise levels.
Usual Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, to speak clearly, and to hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Ability to design, code, test and debug programs; assist end users with computer problems; analyze and organize information and develop effective solutions; communicate technical information verbally and in writing; prepare written documentation of processes, procedures, and programs; work effectively both in a team environment and on his/her own; multi-task; detail and results oriented.
Knowledge of; computer programming principles and methods; relational databases and advanced database design; computer project management techniques and methods; programming languages including SQL, C, C#, HTML, XML, ASP.NET; NHibernate desirable; commonly used software applications including Microsoft Office applications and Internet tools.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems or related field
AND
Three (3) years experience in the following development environment: C#.Net .Net Framework ASP.Net, Microsoft Visual Studio.Net SQL Server 2005.
