Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Application Development Manager designs, develops, enhances, installs, and supports new computer software applications; modifies and maintains existing computer software applications.
Modifies and enhances existing .Net applications.
Supports the court’s case management system.
Writes new programs to meet changing court requirements.
Trains users in the proper use of existing applications.
Prepares program and system documentation.
Analyzes user requirements and develops solutions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Has no direct supervisory responsibility for staff members.
Standard office equipment and office technology such as copy machines, personal computers and telephones.
All court-related information regarding hearings, etc. that the employee may come in contact with by working in the facility.
Works in a general office setting with moderate noise levels.
Usual Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, to speak clearly, and to hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Relational databases and advanced database design
Computer project management techniques and methods
Programming languages including SQL Server, C#, HTML, XML, .NET
Commonly used software applications including Microsoft Office applications and Internet tools.
Knowledge of nHibernate is a plus
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems or related field, or the equivalent amount of experience working in the areas listed below (One (1) year of college equals two (2) years of experience.).
Minimum of four years of experience in the following development environment:
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Visual Studio.Net
Some experience with nHibernate is a plus but not required.
